L’Ascension | 4-Season Spa & Mountain View

Welcome to Chalet L’Ascension, located in Saint-Philémon, in the heart of the beautiful Chaudière-Appalaches region. Surrounded by nature and offering remarkable mountain views, this spacious chalet is the perfect place to gather with family or friends, less than an hour from Québec City and approximately 45 minutes from Montmagny.

Accommodating up to 14 guests, the chalet offers plenty of comfortable space for everyone to enjoy their stay. It features five bedrooms with two Queen beds, four double beds and two single beds, as well as three full bathrooms and one powder room.

The main living area is designed for spending quality time together. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, including a fondue set. The living room with its indoor fireplace is the perfect place to unwind after a day outdoors, while heated floors provide an extra touch of comfort, especially during the colder months.

The chalet also features air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, and everything you need for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

When it’s time to relax, enjoy the covered year-round hot tub overlooking the mountains. Outside, a BBQ is available year-round, along with a wood-burning fire pit available from May to October, with firewood included.

NEW: an electric vehicle charging station is now available directly at the chalet, making your stay even more convenient.

Evenings can easily continue with a game of pool or foosball. Whether you prefer relaxing in the hot tub, gathering around the fire or simply taking in the scenery, L’Ascension offers plenty of ways to enjoy the chalet and its beautiful natural surroundings.

Saint-Philémon is also an excellent destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The Chaudière-Appalaches region offers countless activities throughout the seasons, including hiking, biking, skiing and snowshoeing. Parc régional du Massif du Sud and Station touristique Massif du Sud are also nearby, making it easy to get out and explore the region.

After a full day of adventure, return to the chalet, unwind in the hot tub overlooking the mountains and gather around a good meal or an evening of games. Summer or winter, L’Ascension is a wonderful home base for discovering the region while enjoying the comfort of a spacious chalet surrounded by nature.
