Booking and Prepayments Terms
1- Upon confirmation of your reservation, a payment equivalent to 20% of the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card.
2- The remaining balance will automatically be charged to your credit card 30 days before your arrival date.
3- For reservations made before May 15, 2026, a security deposit will be pre-authorized on your credit card one day before your arrival.
⚠️ Starting May 15, 2026: for reservations made on or after this date, no security deposit will be required. Instead, a $40 damage protection fee will simply be added to your reservation for peace of mind during your stay.
Cancellation Policy
• For cancellations made more than 30 days before the arrival date, a penalty equivalent to 20% of the total stay amount will be retained.
• For cancellations made between 0 and 29 days before arrival, a penalty equivalent to 100% of the total stay amount will apply.
Arrival Information
• Approximately 5 days before your arrival, you will receive a second email containing your arrival instructions.
• This email will include the chalet door code, useful information about the property, contact information during your stay, and information regarding the security deposit or damage protection applicable to your reservation.
• If you do not receive this email, please contact us as soon as possible.
Arrival and Departure Day
• Access to the chalet is available starting at 5:00 PM on the day of arrival. Unfortunately, early check-ins cannot be accommodated.
• Any issue or anomaly must be reported promptly upon arrival.
• On the day of departure, the chalet must be vacated before 11:00 AM.
• Additional departure instructions may be included in the pre-arrival message or inside the chalet.
Tenant Rules and Responsibilities
• Upon arrival, guests are required to inspect the property and immediately report any apparent damage or breakage.
• The tenant is responsible for any material damage occurring during the stay.
• The tenant is responsible for safety inside and outside the chalet and accepts all responsibilities related to it.
Code of Conduct
• Guests must respect the property, the neighborhood and maintain a reasonable noise level at all times.
• The chalet may only be occupied by the number of guests indicated in the reservation.
• The chalet is entirely non-smoking.
• The minimum age required to book a chalet managed by Chalets Confort varies between 21 and 28 years old depending on the property.
• Pets are not allowed unless otherwise specified for the selected chalet.
Other Information
• The availability of certain seasonal amenities or equipment such as watercraft, BBQs or outdoor fireplaces may vary depending on the season.
