The space
Chalet Le Gingo Shack will allow you to spend an unforgettable stay. Located in Saint-Ferdinand, a charming municipality where outdoor activities will be at the rendezvous. With direct access to Lac William with private dock. This is the perfect time to show off your fishing skills, as this is a common activity in the area.
Chalet Gingo Shack is ideal for an escape stay that can accommodate up to 12 people. You will find all the amenities for a "home away from home". Interior comfort with 4 bedrooms; the first and second bedroom with 1 Queen bed and the third and fourth bedroom with 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. A fully equipped kitchen, two living areas and 2 bathrooms. The awakenings will no longer be the same after having enjoyed a coffee on the outdoor patio furnished with a direct view of the lake. Wi-Fi internet access and the pool table are available to keep young and old busy. Please note that animals are not allowed.
Outdoor comfort with a huge landscaped lot with BBQ. You can take the opportunity to warm up around the outdoor fire, or take advantage of the dock and kayak, available in the summer season. Continue to rest, take a moment to enjoy the four-season spa, amidst a memorable landscape.
Summer or winter, you will succumb to the charm of this region of Centre-du-Québec. Whether you are a fan of skiing, snowshoeing, hiking or if you are passionate about bird watching, take advantage of your visit to reconnect with nature. You will never have enjoyed winter so much since snowmobiling is also a very popular activity in Saint-Ferdinand. Indeed, more than 85 km of trails are maintained. Note that a heated garage is available for your snowmobile. Stop off at the Sentiers Art-et-Nature-des-Appalaches or at the Jardin du Presbytère.

Nous avons passé de beaux moments en famille au chalet et nous avons profité de plusieurs excursions aux alentours. Il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter, selon les goûts de chacun. Le chalet est très bien placé au bord du lac, avec une excellente vue pour s’y asseoir, se relaxer ou pêcher. Même s'il est situé en bordure de la rue principale du village, on n'entend pas le bruit des autos. Et il y a une épicerie juste en face, s'il manque quelque chose ! Le seul point négatif et une déception : le spa n’est pas très bien entretenu. Nous n'avons pas pu profité, et le temps de réponse des hôtes est trop long en cas de problème ou questions rapides.

Le chalet était très bien pour notre groupe de 3 familles. L'emplacement avec le lac et le quai était vraiment formidable, on a bien profité du lac et on a même pêché des poissons. Nous avions amené notre paddles board et kayak et c'était vraiment bien pour en profiter. Le chalet était bien. Les points à améliorer est le réglage de la température puisque la thermopompe climatisait beaucoup trop le sous sol et le rez-de chaussé mais les chambres à l'étager étaient peu climatisée. Le thermostat était barré avec une boite ce qui ne nous a pas permis d'ajuster la température. De plus, nous avons noté à la fin de notre séjour qu'il y a un avis d'ébullition de l'eau émis pour cette localité depuis 2024 mais les hotes ne nous l'ont pas mentionné. Bien que cela n'a pas contribué à des inconforts intestinaux, nous nous sommes tout de même dit que cela aurait du être mentionné plus explicitement dans le logement et l'eau fournis dans le distributeur.

Le propriétaire est génial, il a été très rapide et généreux de son temps pour repondre à nos demandes. Un gros merci pour la belle experience vécue! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Gingo Shack. À refaire!
