Escape from everyday life during a visit to the Parc régional du Massif du Sud, a place where winter activities will delight the whole family; snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ski-snowshoeing, fat bike, mountain skiing and many others. The pleasure will also be great in the summer with hiking, mountain biking, hebertism, bird watching and even fishing in the stream. Plan a moment for a stop at the Fromagerie Cassis et Mélisse, the Ferme du Vieux Chemin, the La Levée du Jour bakery or the Microbrasserie Frampton Brasse or even the famous Miller zoo, only few minutes from the chalet.
Stop your research, the chalet l'Ancestral is UNIQUE in its kind. Having preserved the historical aspect with an indescribable view of the private lake. You can access the lake during summer and also in winter time for skating!
The chalet l’Ancestral is ideal for a stay up to people. You will find 3 bedrooms; the first bedroom is located on the ground floor with 1 Queen bed, the second upstairs with 1 Queen bed and the third upstairs also with 1 double bed. Also, 1 sofa bed in the living room.
The living room area will charm with its huge windows and its wood fireplace, a TV and a DVD player. Be prepared because the chalet l'Ancestral has also kept a kitchen in the areas of yesteryear with a wood stove, a small stove and a fridge. A Keurig coffee maker is available to start the morning off right. A fondue stove (gas) as well as an electric fondue stove will be at your disposal during your stay. Although the ancestral cachet is prioritized, air conditioning is available.
It's the perfect opportunity to get together and chat around the table whether it's for lunch, dinner or after dinner during a board game competition. Let yourself be told the stories of the good old days, the decor of the chalet being conducive to activity.
In addition to a private dock, take advantage of other outdoor facilities; 2 kayaks for children, 2 kayaks for adults, 1 canoe and 1 paddle board. A fire area and two BBQ will only enhance your evenings.

Superbe endroit, bien équipé, nous conseillons d’acheter ou d’amener votre eau à boire. L’eau du chalet est bonne, mais a un goût particulier. La route est passante et vous pourriez la trouver légèrement bruyante. Pensez à des bouchons si vous avez le sommeil léger. Nous y retournerions sans hésitation !

Le chalet a un cachet absolument unique — un petit voyage dans le temps ! Au bord du petit lac, le paysage est bucolique et tout à fait apaisant. Nous avons passé un séjour parfait !

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et avons beaucoup apprécié le logement. Tout était conforme à la description et aux photos, et la communication avec l’hôte a été simple et agréable. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Endroit magique! Belle vue et beaux moments en famille! Le chalet était impressionnant. Les embarcations n’étaient pas les plus soignées et propres mais en général tout était très bien ! Endroit très tranquille et paisible !

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au chalet l’Ancestral. Les indications étaient claires et l’accès facile. Malgré la proximité de la route 275, l’emplacement est vraiment très intime. La grande fenestration offre une vue incroyable sur le terrain bien paysagé et sur le lac. Même à l’intérieur, on a l’impression d’être à l’extérieur. Un plus pour nous car nous avons eu du temps plutôt gris et pluvieux lors de notre séjour. La présence de nombreuses antiquités (matériaux, meubles, petits objets) ajoute beaucoup de charme à l’endroit. Nous avons également apprécié le confort des lits et du grand canapé sectionnel. Le chalet est d’une propreté impeccable et très bien équipé. Tout à été pensé. Nous recommandons sans hésiter!

Le lac est plus petit que nous pensions donc c’était de très petits tours de kayak parce que les passages pour faire le tour de la petite île était défendu par les autres propriétaires La télé très peu de variété et la réception était pas très bonne, Netflix à nos frais Et en plus on n’avait pas de réseau cellulaire (Fido) Mais le chalet est très bien…
