The space

Welcome to L’Escapade du Domaine, a modern chalet located in Pont-Rouge, in the Portneuf region, less than 30 minutes from Québec City. Situated within Domaine du Grand Portneuf, in a peaceful natural setting, this chalet is ideal for a getaway with your partner, family, or friends, with plenty of year-round activities nearby.

Accommodating up to 4 guests, L’Escapade du Domaine features two bedrooms, each with a Queen bed, two bathrooms, a living room with a propane fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. The chalet also includes a washer, dryer, and Wi-Fi.

Outside, the furnished patio is a great place to enjoy the fresh air, whether you're having your morning coffee or sharing a meal prepared on the BBQ.

During your stay at Domaine du Grand Portneuf, you'll also have access to shared amenities, including a seasonal heated outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, pool table, and a common lounge area with an indoor fireplace. These facilities are shared with other guests staying at the resort. Time slot reservations are required for the hot tub and sauna and can be made upon arrival.

The Portneuf region offers a variety of activities throughout the year. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the nearby hiking, cycling, snowshoeing, ATV, and snowmobile trails. - Pets are not allowed.
- Personal hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body wash) are not provided. Please bring your own products for the duration of your stay.

Depending on the services required at the chalet, maintenance staff may be present outside the property Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, for services such as grounds maintenance, snow removal, or waste collection. No indoor maintenance will be performed except in emergencies. Our team will remain discreet to avoid disturbing your stay. Your presence is not required.     Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The house largely matched the listing and provided a nice setting for our getaway. The only exception was the advertised indoor fireplace, which unfortunately was not functioning during our visit. There are a few areas that could use some attention, particularly the comfort of the mattresses, soundproofing between rooms, and water pressure. Guests who are light sleepers, have back sensitivities, or prefer stronger water pressure may want to keep these in mind.

Le locataire doit aviser Chalets Confort de tout bris ou dommage causé durant son séjour. Le locataire est responsable des dommages matériels et corporels survenus dans ou sur l'établissement loué pendant la période de location. Le locataire et toute autre personne se trouvant sur les lieux loués s’engagent à tenir le propriétaire de l'établissement quitte et indemne de toute réclamation présentée par qui que ce soit résultant des dommages dont ils sont responsables. Le locataire s’engage à respecter des règles de conduite raisonnables et ne pas déranger les voisins et résidents du secteur. Il devra s’en tenir à un niveau de bruit raisonnable, et ce, tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur. Après 11 h, les bruits doivent être réduits au minimum surtout à l’extérieur. The tenant must notify Chalets Confort of any breakage or damage caused during his stay.
