The space
The Chalet Pourquoi Pas ! will charm as much by its comfort as by the enchanting landscape that surrounds it. A breathtaking view of the mountains, huge windows, the perfect combination for a family stay, with friends or simply for a romantic getaway. Located in Saint-Philémon less than 1 hour from Quebec City and 45 minutes from Montmagny, you can live, explore and discover a haven of peace with many attractions.
Ideal for a stay of up to 14 people
The “Chalet Pourquoi Pas !” has 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom upstairs has 1 Queen bed with electric fireplace and a private bathroom. Wake up to stunning mountain views. You will find 2 other bedrooms upstairs, one with 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed (2 single mattresses), the other with 1 double bed. The fourth bedroom is in the basement with 3 double beds. If necessary, you will find a sofa bed in the living room, 1 rollaway bed, 1 baby playpen and a small bed (6 years old and under).
On the ground floor, you will find the fully equipped kitchen. For the comfort of young and old, you will appreciate the heated floor in the cold season. Enjoy a moment of relaxation by the indoor fireplace in the living room.
Live the complete experience using the outdoor spa available all year round. A BBQ is also available from May to October. Free wireless Internet and board games available during your stay.
Take note that animals are not allowed.
Get away from your everyday life with a visit to the Massif du Sud Regional Park, a place where winter activities will charm the whole family; snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ski-snowshoeing, fat bike, mountain skiing and many others. The fun will also be great in summer with hiking, mountain biking, hebertism, ornithology and even stream fishing. Plan a moment to stop at the Fromagerie Cassis et Mélisse, the Ferme du Vieux Chemin, the Boulangerie La Levée du Jour or the Microbrasserie de Bellechasse. One day is not enough!

No indoor maintenance will be performed unless there is an emergency. Our team will work discreetly to avoid disturbing your stay. Your presence is not required. Magnifique chalet et environs!

Le chalet était parfait pour nos besoins. Nous étions 6 adultes et 3 enfants (3 à 10 ans), chaque famille avait son intimité. Sécuritaire pour les enfants. Nous sommes arrivés en pleine canicule et il faisait 33 degrés dans les chambres du dernier étage! La climatisation et les ventilateurs n'ont pas suffit à refroidir l'étage pour la première nuit. On réalise rapidement que le chalet a été construit pour les séjours de ski et non pour l'été. Pour le reste, tout était en ordre. Nous avons pu faire griller des guimauves sur le feu et nous baigner dans le SPA. L'Eco-Parc des Etchemins n'est pas très loin et le Ziptopia est juste à coté! Il manque un couteau coupant (de chef) pour faciliter la préparation des repas. Nous aurions apprécié être informés que le chemin pour se rendre au chalet est en construction et qu'il y a un détour (très mal indiqué d'ailleurs). Notre séjour de 3 nuits fut très agréable malgré la chaleur.

Notre équipe de ménage valide après chaque location si des choses sont manquantes et/ou brisées. Chalets Confort et le propriétaire seront alertés si c’était le cas. Le locataire doit aviser Chalets Confort de tout bris ou dommage causé durant son séjour. Le locataire est responsable des dommages matériels et corporels survenus dans ou sur l'établissement loué pendant la période de location. Le locataire et toute autre personne se trouvant sur les lieux loués s’engagent à tenir le propriétaire de l'établissement quitte et indemne de toute réclamation présentée par qui que ce soit résultant des dommages dont ils sont responsables. Le locataire s’engage à respecter des règles de conduite raisonnables et ne pas déranger les voisins et résidents du secteur. Il devra s’en tenir à un niveau de bruit raisonnable, et ce, tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur. Après 11 h, les bruits doivent être réduits au minimum surtout à l’extérieur. Conditions: L'établissement est non-fumeur. Au moment du départ, il est important de disposer des déchets à l'endroit prévu à cet effet. Uniquement le nombre de personnes indiquées dans la réservation sont autorisés à l'établissement durant le séjour. Le non-respect des règles ou conditions peut entraîner des frais supplémentaires. Les animaux ne sont pas autorisés. À noter que vous devez être âgé d’au moins 28 ans pour effectuer une réservation dans un établissement Chalets Confort. Une pièce d’identité sera exigée.

Our cleaning team validates after each rental if things are missing and / or broken. Chalets Confort and the owner will be alerted if this is the case. The tenant must notify Chalets Confort of any breakage or damage caused during his stay. The tenant is responsible for material damage and bodily injury occurring in or on the rented establishment during the rental period. The tenant and any other person on the rented premises undertake to keep the owner of the establishment free from and harmless from any claim made by anyone resulting from the damage for which they are responsible. The tenant agrees to respect reasonable rules of conduct and not to disturb neighbours and residents of the area. It should be kept to a reasonable noise level, both indoors and outdoors. After 11 a.m., noise should be kept to a minimum, especially outdoors. Conditions: The establishment is non-smoking. At the time of departure, it is important to dispose of the waste in the place provided for this purpose. Only the number of people indicated in the reservation are allowed at the establishment during the stay. Failure to comply with rules or conditions may result in additional charges.
